The assailant watches you as you slowly bleed out from your injuries. He quickly grabs all your belongings and dips. An id falls to the ground as you recognize it's your classmate from computer science. Damn. You can do nothing as you are frozen in fear, staring down the headlights of the truck as the horn blares. She cocks her head at you and looks at you with a confused expression. You look around and see that there are no people or buildings in sight. Theres a forest in front of you, and what looks like a desert expanse behind you. You look back to the girl, Zoey. You: Hey, you’re just a kid, what the heck are you doing out here? Zoey frowns and scoffs at you. Zoey: Who are you calling a kid?! I'm thousands of years old!! I'm not a little kid! Hmph! She crosses her arms and frowns. [[Oh! Let's see what I can find!! You watch, mezmerized, as she starts to form portals around her. Magical particals begin to spin around her and all of a sudden, the daytime sky turns to night. The scene is beautiful, the stars here are evidently much more vivid here than they were back on Earth...but then your mind gets blown. Zoey looks to be literally grabbing and moving around the stars from right here! What in the world?! After a few minutes of this fantastical display, she floats down back to you with a scroll in her hand, one that she had pulled out of some portal on her way down. [[That was insane!!! She laughs at you, and opens the scroll. Zoey: Anyways! Based on the constellations,it looks like you were warped to this universe by some higher power! Or…two higher powers? Angio and Manvo…I’ve never heard these names before but according to my star chart they sent you into our universe for some reason. Zoey nods as she rolls up the scroll and throws it into another portal. Zoey: I’ll have to do some research into it…but don’t worry! I’ll find out! In the meantime, you should head into the main city, Piltunder. She points to the forest in front of you. Zoey: It's about half a day's walk through there, and don’t worry about evil monsters, they only come out at night! I’ll meet you in the city tonight, bye bye! Have fun! With that, she forms a portal under her feet and drops through, closing it behind her. And, you are left alone in front of the intimidating forest, apparently leading the way to some city with a very familiar but trademark-safe name. You turn around and look again at the vast desert behind you. Hmm... You head off into the forest at the command of the young girl. Or, rather, the immortal celestial being who just //looks// like a young girl. Traveling through the shrubbery, you soon discover a faint dirt path, and figure that it should head right towards the city that Zoey spoke of...Piltunder. However, you also take notice of some footsteps in the dirt that stray away from the path and in the opposite direction. The footsteps //do// seem to be human... You chuckle to yourself. No stupid little 12 year old is going to tell you what to do! You turn around and take a look at the vast desert behind you. With a deep breath, you take your first step into the sand, and into your new story. [[A couple hours later... ->desert1]]

Well surely, if there's another human out here, it is safer to find them and travel together, right? After all, you know nothing of what lurks in these jungles... You scan your surroundings for any landmarks, just in case you need to find your way back. You collapse to the ground and groan as your heavy eyelids slowly shut. You grit your teeth, and take a deep breath. YOU WILL NOT LET SOME MEASLY HEAT STRIKE YOU DOWN!! YOU WILL VENTURE ON!! You: HAHAHAAHAHAHAH! I LAUGH IN THE FACE OF DEATH!! NOTHING CAN STOP ME!! Just then, as you deleriously laugh at nothing and no one in particular, you are suddenly tackled and pinned to the floor. You look up startled and staring back at you is a disgusting bandit, grinning with their disgusting bandit teeth, wearing a disgusting bandit hat. Disgusting. Quickly scanning around, you also notice that there are MORE of them, walking closer to you. You: HEY! GET OFF ME!! Bandit #1: Not a chance, kid. The bandits spoke in a British accent. Bandit #2: Yeah, we're going to take all your belongings. Now hand 'em over mate. Bandit #3: And after that, maybe we'll have a little more fun with you... You: Zoe? Is that you? You slowly open your eyes expecting to see the young girl's face all up in your grill like before...instead you are met with the snarling face of a terrifying creature that you had never seen in your life. It was akin to some kind of purple, plated armadillo, but the size of an elephant. Instead of a bottom jaw, it just had two small tusk-like appendages snapping open and shut, with a long, thin tongue protruding out. And...it had no eyes! [[HOLY SHIT WHAT THE FUCK?! //Run away// ->runrek]] [[*Calmly* Uhh...hi...how's it goin? ->introrek]] [[*Smirk* What dat tongue do? ->rekkill]]

You freak out, perhaps understandably so, and scramble to your feet before promptly skedaddling out of there. You take off in some random direction away from the beast, and run for your dear life. You've already died once, you're definitely not going out like this. After about 10 minutes of non-stop running, you slow down and collapse back on the sand. You must have lost it by now, right? You look behind you, and to your horror, you see the beast tunneling in and out of the sand, traveling like a shark on the hunt for it's prey. Before you know it, the horrifying creature is already underneath you, and it jumps out of the sand, catching you with it's jaws and snapping your body in half. The world once again fades from your eyes as you watch the monster eat your legs before dragging your upper body towards it's mouth. DEAD

You: Uh...h-hi...h-how's it g-g-going? You chuckle nervously and hold out your hand to shake. The beast makes a creepy growling/clicking noise at you, and wraps it's tongue around your hand. You brace yourself, prepared to be chomped up...but to your surprise, the creature shakes your hand with the tongue. It reaches into the sand with it's enormous, bulky claws, and pulls out a peice of paper. You take it and realize that the paper has braille imprinted on it. [[Good thing I know braille! ->rek1]] [[Damn, I don't know braille... ->rekbye]]

In your delerious state, you start to feel kind of frisky when you see the creature's tongue. You smirk at the beast. You: What dat tongue do tho? ;) After a moment, the beast's tongue wraps around your body, and pulls you into it's mouth, snapping it's jaws around you and killing you instantly. DEAD

You look up at the beast and shake your head. You: I-I uh, I don't know braille...sorry...p-please don't eat me... The creature looks back down at you and makes another clicking noise, before jumping up into the air and crashing back into the sand, burrowing beneath and leaving you once again, all alone in the desert. [[Time to venture on alone again... ->rektrans]]

Luckily, you actually know braille from back on Earth! You take a look at the paper and make out the following: //Hello, my name is Sai Reck, I am blind.// You: Oh...huh...n-nice to meet you Sai Rek...can you hear me? Sai pulls out another peice of paper from the sands and hands it to you. //Yes, I am not deaf I am blind.// You: Oh, right right, sorry...Oh! I'm $name! You nod to her. You: Sure, I'll follow you. Where are we going? Sai looks down at you and clicks. She suddenly picks you up with her bulky claws and drags you, screaming, underground into the sand. You vision is blinded by the sand as you feel yourself being quickly ferried through the ground. Finally, you pop up and collapse on the ground as you are dropped from Sai's grasp. Sai looks down at you and clicks. She suddenly picks you up with her bulky claws and drags you, screaming, underground into the sand. We can't have a relationship that has an undertone of possible murder! Sai growls at you, snapping her jaws. You: See! Like that! Every time we get into an argument, what can I say! Suddenly, a man with a large ponytail, and a katana by his hip, dashes in between you and Sai. He looks like what you on Earth would have called "An Edgelord." The man looks at you, and speaks with an edgy, deep voice. Edgelord: Wow, you are the most stunning being I have ever seen. He gestures to Sai. Edgelord: Hey, is this thing bothering you? [[Uh...no, no she's not. We're just going through some things. ->rekeat]] [[Yes! As a matter of fact, she is! ->yaswhiteknight]]

The man shakes his head in an edgy way. Edgelord: There's no need to defend this beast, I will save you from it! He turns to Sai and unsheathes his katana, brandishing it at her. Edgelord: Engard, foul creature! Do not come any closer to my love! Sai roars at the edgelord man and pounces on him, sinking her fangs into his flesh and tearing him limb from limb. You shak your head. You: Sai! You can't just kill anyone who tries to white knight for me! Sai grumbles and clicks as she continues feasting on the edgelord's corpse. You: Ugh, you know what? That's it! I'm going to find my way back to the city. We're done! And with that, you storm off into the desert once more, leaving the blind monster Sai Reck to her dinner. The man nods. Edgelord: Say no more, my love. I will take care of this foul beast for you. He turns to Sai and unsheathes his katana, brandishing it towards her. Edgelord: Engard, disgusting creature! Leave my love alone! Sai roars at the man, but then turns to you and makes another clicking sound. Finally, she burrows back into the sand and tunnels away into the distance. The man turns back towards you and bows. Edgelord: I am eternally grateful that you allowed me to assist you. Please, allow me to introduce myself. I go by many names...but you can call me NightStalker. And you are? [[Uhh... ->backcity]] [[So charming! ->yasrepay]]

You: Uhh...I am going to find my way back to Piltunder... NightStalker: Yes! Of course, I'll accompany you. Let us go! And with that, the two of you set off to your original destination. [[Off to find Piltunder! ->yasending1]]

As you head deeper into the forest surrounded by trees and shrubs. You look up and see a figure hanging off a vine. [[Approach the figure ->ezappr]] [[Stay where you are... ->ezstay]]

You carefully walk up and peer at the figure. Upon closer inspection it seems to be another human! Not a moment passed, when the figure suddenly jumps down from the tree and lands right in front of you. It was a soft looking blonde guy. He had a charming smile as he began to speak. Guy: Hey, who are you? Never seen you around here before! You jump in surprise and quickly respond back You: Oh ummm I’m $name. I’m new around here! Guy: Oh nice to meet you $name! I’m Twinkie. What a suitable name! You: I’m trying to head to the city, do you know the way? Twinkie thinks for a moment. Twinkie: Hmmm, sure! But, you have to help me with something first. You decide to stay back for safety reasons. However, the figure seems to spot you immediately, and swings down to the floor! It was a soft looking blonde guy. He had a charming smile as he began to speak. Guy: Hey, who are you? Never seen you around here before! You jump in surprise and quickly respond back You: Oh ummm I’m $name. I’m new around here! Guy: Oh nice to meet you $name! I’m Twinkie. What a suitable name! You: I’m trying to head to the city, do you know the way? Twinkie thinks for a moment. Twinkie: Hmmm, sure! Twinkie smiles and reaches his hand out to shake yours. You reach out as he pulls you towards him into his arms. Twinkie: Hold on tight! Suddenly with a flash of light the two of you are up on the tree. You look down at the ground completely disoriented with what just happened. Twinkie: Can you see that cave? That’s where we need to go. I heard a rumor that an old relic is being hidden there and I want to find it. You look where he’s pointing and barely make out a small entrance into a tunnel... you wonder to yourself what you've gotten yourself into. [[Twinkie: Alright we gotta hurry! ->adv1]]

You: Uh...no thanks, I'd rather just get to the city as soon as I can. Twinkie: Oh..alright then! Well I hope to see you around... He looks you up and down, winks at you, and then suddenly disappears in a flash of light. [[Back into the forest... ->tahm1]]

Clearly familiar with the forest, Twinkie jumps from tree to tree heading towards the direction of the cave. You attempt to follow but are soon worn out, as your life in the city has not prepared you for very much athletic activity. [[Stop where you are ->ezstop]] [[Jump to the next tree ->jumpdie]]

Seeing you slowing down and breathing heavily, Twinkie stops. He jumps back to you and puts a hand on your shoulder. Twinkie: You Good? Alright since we’re short on time I’m just gonna carry you. He then sweeps you off your feet and picks you up in a princess carry. You: WHAT ARE YOU DOING??!?! [[Ask him to put you down ->putdown]] [[Say nothing ->ezcarry]]

You take a deep breath and leap to the next tree. You didn't get very far at all, falling short about 5 feet from the target branch, and you successfully plummet to the ground, snapping your neck on landing and instatnly dying. DEAD

Your face turns bright red in embarrassment as you cup your face. You: Put me down!!! Twinkie shakes his head. Twinkie: This will be over soon! Don't worry! With you in his arms, he casually blinks from tree to tree reaching the cave in just a few minutes. He puts you down at the cave entrance. You look inside, and all you can see is black darkness. Twinkie: Ready to venture in?! [[Uhh...that's too scary... ->tahmtrans]] [[I'm right behind you! ->ezcave]] [[Follow me! ->cavedie1]]

With you in his arms, he casually blinks from tree to tree reaching the cave in just a few minutes. He puts you down at the cave entrance. You look inside, and all you can see is black darkness. Twinkie: Ready to venture in?! [[Uhh...that's too scary... ->tahmtrans]] [[I'm right behind you! ->ezcave]] [[Follow me! ->cavedie1]]

You shake your head and decide to wimp out. You turn around and start walking back into the forest. Twinkie throws a rock at your head. Twinkie: Hey where are you going! You gotta help me dummy or else I’m not taking you into the city! [[Ugh...fine, but you're going in first... ->ezcave]] [[Back into the forest I go! ->tahmtrans2]]

He smiles at you and enters the cave. Twinkie: Step carefully, there may be traps around here.

You walk in first, since you must protect your new friend. Twinkie grabs your arm and pulls you backwards. Twinkie: Woah! Be careful! There might be traps around here. Huh, you're not an adventurer, are you...no matter! Stay behind me.

You continue deeper into the forest and finally come upon a river. There, you see something hovering above the water...suddenly, a giant fish rises from the river. He approaches you and you stand in stupor as you’ve never seen a catfish that massive. The catfish looks at you with a piercing gaze, and spoke in a thick, New Orleans accent. Catfish: Who are you, and why are you in my territory? [[I'm sorry, did you say the catfish SPOKE??!?! ->tahm2]]

You flip off the blonde boy, you’re gonna work on your own terms. And your terms are to not step foot in that dark, ominous, scary cave. [[After more walking through the thick shrubbery... ->tahm1]]

You snap back to reality as you think, what the fuck, did a catfish just talk to me?! You stumble to regain your composure as you stare at the figure looming over you. You noticed more details about this creature that really surprised you...never in your life have you seen a fish wearing a top hat and a suit jacket. You scream, make a 180, and bolt for your life. Before you even make it more than a few feet, a large, warm, thick tongue wraps around your waist! Catfish: Now now, I don't take kindly to strangers in my territory! His tongue slowly starts to pull you into his gaping maw, truly the largest mouth you've ever seen in your life. Catfish: I am Froggie, the babbling brook king, you will remember my name! Though, not for much longer. Finally, his tongue snaps back into his mouth, pulling you along with it...and you are completely devoured whole. DEAD
